HELPFUL TIPS ON USING VERIUNI CLEANSERS!
Following are some tips that I and my customers have discovered in getting the best results from using the Veriuni cleansers.
- I believe that if you are on a public water system where the water is treated with fluoride and/or chlorine, etc. compromises the cleaning action of these products. If this is the case, you may have to use a little more of a particular cleaner to get the desired result. I and my best friend, who also uses these products, get our water from a well where the water is not treated with anything and we have had fantastic results. I have also found these cleaners to work better on surfaces where an all natural soap is being used (I use Pure & Natural due to sensitive skin). One house that I clean she uses Dove (not too bad) but her husband uses Irish Spring (bad). The drain in his tub is always green every week when I get there so I have since just left it green as it is too much work to get the stain off.
- When mopping your floors for the first time with the All Purpose cleaner be sure to use a new mop head so as not to compromise the cleaning action from residue left in the mop from your previous cleaner. You will be amazed at how dirty the water gets so make a new solution as necessary. Do not continue to mop with the dirty water. This cleaner also makes a fantastic cleaner to wash your vehicle with (I still wash my own vehicle). It even softened up the tar spots so that I could scrape them off with my fingernail. After washing and drying your vehicle apply the Furniture Polish being sure not to get it on the windows, and you will be amazed at the finished product. Then to complete the job wipe any leather or vinyl inside the vehicle with the Furniture Polish and wash the windows inside and out with the Window Cleaner. This is the only Window Cleaner that removes the dog saliva from inside the back of my truck windows. For a quick maintenance wash when you don’t have time to do a full wash just take a wet cloth and wipe over the surface – comes out just like it did on the original wash. Two customers have also used the All Purpose Cleaner in their home carpet cleaners and both reported good results, especially the pleasant smell afterwards. My friend told me she was especially pleased because it removed a Marion Berry stain.
- When cleaning your shower or bath tub insert it is best to soak a sponge with the Basin, Tub and Tile cleaner, wipe the surface evenly so all is covered including the chrome and let it sit for a few minutes, rather than spray it on as it all runs down to the bottom and down the drain and leaves streaks. Let this sit on the surface for a few minutes until small bubbles appear and then take a scour pad (Scotch Brite), testing first in a non-conspicuous place to make sure it doesn’t leave scratch marks. After scrubbing the surface, rinse and dry, and redo any spots you have missed. After this use a rag soaked with the Furniture Polish, being sure not to get it on the floor of your shower as it would make it really slippery, and rub it all around until dry and shiny (this is not for tile showers). DO NOT apply the Furniture Polish until you get a clean smooth finish. Doing this step helps repel the buildup of soap scum, again making maintenance cleaning very easy and effective, and after using the shower you can use a shower squeegee (purchase at Bi-Mart or Dollar Store) and still have a clean gloss in your shower. Application of this may take 2 or 3 times depending on the severity of buildup of soap scum and residue from previous caustic cleaners. You can also apply the Furniture Polish periodically after cleaning your wash basins, kitchen sink, or toilet seat and bowl (very good on porcelain) which is good for effective maintenance cleaning and shine. The Furniture Polish also works really well on the toilet seats, makes them really smooth to sit on. My friend told me about putting some Basin, Tub and Tile Cleaner in her husband’s stainless steel coffee thermos and it removed all the black buildup from inside his thermos.
- When using the Toilet Bowl Cleaner be sure to squeeze the liquid up under the rim of the toilet and that it covers the surrounding bowl as it runs down. Best results come with letting it sit for about 30 minutes. For a problem ring turn off the water behind the toilet and then flush the toilet – this keeps the water level below the ring. Use a “pumice for porcelain” stone on the ring or all over the inside of the bowl, flush the pumice granules and then apply the toilet bowl cleaner. I never flush the cleaner down just leave it as it keeps cleaning just flush the next time you use the toilet. You can also apply the Furniture Polish to the inside of the toilet bowl after drying it good if you think you are satisfied with the job. Doing this periodically keeps this ring from building up so fast again. My ring has not reappeared since I started doing this. This makes maintenance so easy. Another incredible trick to getting any built up blackish, green crusted lime deposits removed from any porcelain (be it toilet, sink or bath tub) is to use a “pumice for porcelain” stone which you can get from your local hardware store. Just use the pumice stone on the surface of the bad areas and in conjunction with the Veriuni Basin, Tub & Tile or Toilet Bowl Cleaner you can get the porcelain looking like new again, albeit chips etc will not be removed.
- Super Citrus cleaner works great on carpets and can be used in your personal carpet cleaner system. Try treating any stains prior to cleaning with the Stain Treatment being sure to shake it up good to get the enzymatic action in force which works really good on organic stains; however, a friend told me the Stain Treatment worked on black mascara that she got on a white blouse – but remember this is not immediate as she treated every day for 3 days, sometimes twice a day (treating, let sit for 45 minutes and then rinse, etc). I, myself used the Super Citrus on some pitch on a friend’s car and it removed it by soaking a small piece of cloth and rubbing “like heck” and picking a little bit with my fingernail but it came off with no damage to her car. It is also great to wash your car with and also works terrific on windows. I also used it in a pressure washer to clean my deck and it worked superbly on moss buildup on the back side of my house and shed. (I live in a mountainous area and everything gets covered with moss). All I had to do was dip a brush in the solution and scrub the side of the house where the moss was and then rinse. All these products are nontoxic and safe for sensitive skin and I can vouch for that because I did not wear rubber gloves (I forgot). I also have a 1971 Gibson stove and this worked great to clean my oven. To get troublesome burnt on deposits removed wipe on the Super Citrus with a sponge, let sit for 10-15 minutes (or whatever) and then take a single-edge razor blade scraping over the entire surface of the spots and they will come off real easy. Also an incredible cleaner to clean the glass inserts of a fire place or wood burning stoves sometimes with the help of a Scotch Brite pad. Results are fantastic!
- The Furniture Polish is a great cleaner and protector of wood, vinyl and other surfaces. If you need an instant dust cloth take an old rag and moisten it with the Furniture Polish and place it in a zip lock baggie for storage. When it is too dirty to use any more just throw it away or throw it in the washing machine.
7. Automatic dish soap. If you find you have a spotting problem spray some Basin,
Tub & Tile on your dishes before washing them.
- Stain Treatment can also be used for stinky drains, just pour a little down your
drains once in awhile. It has a very light peppermint smell.
There isn’t a cleanser on the market that matches the cleaning power of the Veriuni cleansers and yet so safe, being made from pesticide-free plants. Check out the Material Safety Data Sheets. The most outstanding thing about these cleansers is that they can be used on a multitude of surfaces.

When I was first told about the Natural non-toxic cleaners I was very excited about them being plant derived. Running a bed and breakfast I really have to not only be sensitive to my home, I have to consider the needs of my guests and my pets. Cleaning is a very large part of running an Inn and I was never satisfied with the build up of other products and the powerful scent left behind. When I clean a room just hours before someone new checks in, I dreaded the just cleaned overwhelming smell on the nose. I ordered a sample pack of the cleaners and Karol went over the diverse uses for each. I first started in my kitchen where I have a marble floor. I had recently dropped a bottle of red wine vinegar and it took the polish off as well as discolored the stone to a gray brown. I sprayed the all purpose cleaner on in for about ten minutes and wiped it up. Not only did it start to take the gray out, but the stone looked clean for the first time since the accident. I use the all purpose on my counters (marble), even the hardwood floors. What I am discovering with these products is that they seem to remove scum and old product after a couple of uses. There is a real true gleam after you clean. The most impressive is very little to no smell, briefly after cleaning a surface. Bottom line is these products clean very nicely verses over the counter products that just smell clean, but seem to coat the surfaces with film. I have used everything in the line including the laundry detergent and the dog shampoo. My dogs smell like fresh dogs instead of flowery dogs, and they do not run outside to scoot in the grass to rid themselves of a toxic scent. I really love my little hidden gems that I have been cleaning with for a year now and I can recommend them highly and suggest not waiting too long before you have them at hand.
